Personalized Math Tutoring That Builds Skills and Confidence

I help students build the math skills, confidence, and problem-solving habits they need to succeed—both in the classroom and on high-stakes exams.

With more than 25 years of experience as a high school mathematics teacher, curriculum designer, and ACT/SAT math specialist, I understand where students commonly get stuck and how to help them move forward. I have earned perfect scores on the official ACT and SAT and have helped hundreds of students strengthen their math foundations, improve their performance, and approach challenging problems with greater confidence.

Every student begins with a conversation about their current course, areas of concern, and goals. I then create a personalized tutoring plan that targets skill gaps, clears up misconceptions, and gives students practical strategies they can use independently. Whether your child needs support in Algebra, Geometry/Trigonometry, Algebra II, or Pre-Calculus; is preparing for a quiz, unit test, or final; or is working toward a stronger ACT or SAT Math score, sessions are built around what will make the greatest difference for that student.

Create Your Own Private Cohort

$675 per student
5 students required

Your group receives a private, live four-week learning experience with personalized instruction, peer accountability, and a schedule built around your family’s needs.

Bring together five students for a customized Desmos Mastery Cohort (DMC) or Geometry Mastery Cohort (GMC). Your group receives the same high-quality, interactive instruction as DMC or GMC, with the added advantage of choosing meeting times that work for your schedules.

Each student receives:

  • 15 hours of live, small-group instruction

  • Customized support focused on your group’s goals

  • Course materials, practice resources, and session recordings

  • Office hours for additional questions and support and two 1-on-1 coaching sessions for all students in the private cohort

  • A focused, supportive learning environment with peers they know

Because students typically already know one another, they often feel more comfortable asking questions, participating in discussions, and working through challenging problems together. Groups also benefit from built-in accountability: many students meet outside of the live Google Meet sessions to complete homework, review concepts, and prepare for the upcoming exam.

How It Works

  1. Email your preferred four-week timeframe, ideal meeting days and times, and the type of cohort your group would like to create.

  2. I’ll work with you to build a schedule that accommodates live instruction and office hours.

  3. Once the schedule is confirmed, send the names and email addresses of the five participating families.

  4. Each family will receive a registration email and must complete registration within 48 hours to secure the cohort.

Your dates are officially reserved once all five students have completed registration. To ensure the best availability, custom cohorts should be scheduled at least 30 days in advance.
